quick update

Well after writing the post below I felt i might aswell give a quick update, mainly regarding the patch.

Currently i am sitting at 45k gold. Making 15k aprox form the glyphstorm of 4.0
My druid hit 80 (a long time ago) and is now fully i232 geared (heroics before patch 4.0)
My Druid was the only one to get a mount durring brewfest (ram) priest already has both rams (100% and the now unobtainable 60%)
My Druid has also reciently got the headlis horsmasn reigns.
My Druid also on his first Solo of Anzu got Ravin Lord aswell.
*(Anzu now spawns, you do NOT need a druid to summon, FARM HIM)

And the BEST change of 4.0 is that all 60% mounts now travel at 100% speed :)
why you ask?

No longer need to ride my 'cock' about, can use my tiger as a real mount and no longer consider it as just "art work".

Lament of the Highborne; A story of failure, betrayal and redemption.

This post is inteended for Marko's blog fair, i felt with the topic on hand, it would be stupid not to share this recient experence.

So first the background, as i have not been posting (school exams is my excuse, but really i have lost interest (for the time being) in full on gold making).

Last month it seamed that many a shadowmourne was created, with the top horde guild deciding to sell the new shadowmorn items, as they have done with all raid required loot/titles/achivments/mounts. To "fund" their guild. Anyway at first prices were over the 100k mark per item, but soon fell, mainly because of 5k undercuts between the three people that had the new obtainable mount (http://www.wowhead.com/item=52200/reins-of-the-crimson-deathcharger). I decided to buy one when i saw the price flatten, i first thought i would use it but then decided to flip it and if that failed, just hold onto it, "mid cata" was my plan.

But two more items entered the mix, the Music box and Locket, i really had wanted the Music box from the moment of hearing of it. It reminded me of the first time i saw Sylvanas, her laying down herl ocket and it singing Lament of the Highborne.

If anything watch this video to understand:
So anyway I decided, that since i had an offer at the price i had bought it at, i would sell to then buy the Music box. I excitedly sent away the CoD and went to bed.

The next morning...

I lowered my head in shame, I had laughed before at those who had had this misforunte while sending things to myself. I instantly knew that there was nothing I could do and on wispering the fella that I had sold to, I found myself ignored. All i could do I relised, was open ticket, beliving that in the smallest of chances I could somehow get my money back, I might aswell try.

It took one day for my ticket to have the "soon" tag under it, but it lay unanswered. I deicded with the money I did have, I would spent it all on the Music Box. I spent 20k on it, and was very pleased.

Eight painful days of waiting later.

(The email picture didn't size well and was replaced here)
And because no one likes painfuly looking at an image to use a link:

I for those that can't be bothered taking a link, here is the main part that i fell (in this case) under:

Virtual property lost due to user error

If we can verify that your loss of virtual property was the direct result of:

*Accidental deletion (characters, items, and in-game currency).
*Accidental sale to a vendor.
*Falling victim to a scam (please refer to our Scam Policy at us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?articleId=20459 for further details on scams). Any other user error.
We will attempt to restore the virtual property.
We reserve the right to refuse restoration if we feel an excessive number of requests have been made in this particular category or if an undue amount of time has passed since the item or character was lost. We do not wish to encourage career victims, nor will we penalize players who legitimately make the occasional slip-up. Although we understand that the occasional mistake can be made, please be aware that restorations are limited, not guaranteed, and are at the sole discretion of Blizzard Entertainment
If your particular case fits any of the above criteria, you may be eligible to receive assistance with the recovery of your lost goods. Due to many variables with investigating these claims, your reimbursement, if approved, may not be immediate. Keep in mind that a player and the account registered to him/her will be permitted a limited number of instances in which the GM staff will assist with property recovery. While we can restore items with random modifiers (of the Bear, of the Eagle, etc.), we cannot guarantee that you will receive the same modifier you had on your original item. We are also unable to restore enchantments or add-ons that these items may have possessed.

There is more and I do suggest reading the rest, do note that this for me, counted as one of my resets:

I was scammed again! Can you help me?
While we will make every effort to assist players in need, we want players to learn from their mistakes and take measures to ensure the same mistakes are not repeated. In this way, we prevent players from becoming career victims and utilizing the GM Staff as a crutch or shield against scammers. To this end, players will only be allowed a certain number of item restorations, including those lost to scams and guild bank theft.

Now I feel that of all the mistakes i have ever made in this game, for the four years i have been playing, that this was the worse, but fortunatly all ended well:

Oh and finaly, don't fall for scams I got a bit of a fright when I saw this, a very cleaver crafted fake:

Where I stand.

Currently I am not playing a lot of wow and the time I so spend is just casually leveling my Druid (66 atm and 430 leather working).

Mainly iv been taking a break from wow, but now (mock) exams have rolled up so I'm going to be focusing on them.

I'm not sure when I will be back to gold making, but I will be back at some-point so stay tuned.

Has blizzard killed incription

Got busy with life.

Anyway I read that in cata that people now need to buy glyphs once and then you can just cycle between them, has this just killed incription or at least to the point of the glyph market. I am not sure what to think at this stage, it could cause many to switch before cata, this may leave gaps. It also may be a sign that bliz is looking into how gold is made and how to stop our cash cows, this makes me feel I shouldent go for world firsts and sort. What do you guys think?

Your right but your wrong

Galvon your right, gold has no worth but your wrong. You may have no need for gold but that's because you are in the 1% of players that are gold capted (or have been) and know ways to make gold. You may not need gold but others 'do'. People who see everyone else on their epic flyers and mamoths are the ones who 'need' gold. The people who can't meet their repairs are the ones who need gold, or the leveling newbie that decideds that they need the cool thing on the AH.

You see things from your tower of gold like scrouge duck. You must remember that you are not like the avrage Jo, you have an economic background and weigh an epic flyer as useliss since you still can't make the flight time. Because of what you belive is helpful to your project and what is not, you have given a gain level to everything, you must consider you have excess gold for your 'needs' of repairs, food and drink and at that a big excess.

The avrage Jo wants what he dosn't have. Epic flyer, mamoth, chopper, epic loots, vanity items and rare pets. They don't have gold for this, these are the people that belive that gold has worth, because to them it dose. A true and clear example of this is the fact that I was able to pay in gold for play time via RaF people are willing to pay real money for gold. It must have some worth to someone.

----------

In me related news I sold my rooster for 52k on the AH, 49.5k in the hand from that very glad. Got alot of hate for spaming to sell it but it was worth it.

BROKE!

Im broke.

Im owning 2k gold to a guildy, hence i totaly bust. But it was worth it by far:

Yesterday i got my guildy to RaF (recruit a friend) with me, i recurited him. He bought the game + 2 months of gametime and i recived the new x-53 rocket + one months play time!

Now i made sure i left a buffer of 10k for me to be safe, if anything unexpected pop'd up, well it did.

Mannage to snag this rooster for 13k! Totaly going to resell for 50-75k is my aim, there going to be someone that wants one (like myself) that will pay top gold. The comment i made is a lie, he was getting bigger offers so i decided to pull some heart strings.
---
Now im not sure if i was unclear about my chopper last post but i only paid 14.2k for the chopper and another 7.5k for my celestial steed + lil XT pet.
My future plan is not to stockpile anymore gold, iv got every thing i want. Now im happy, the gold i make will be used to stockpile things to sell in Cata.

What 20k buys

Well I blew another 20k. I bought a Hog, one thing I'd never thought I'd do but decided that I wanted it. I also got a guildmate to buy me the celestial mount code. So this adds to my collection.

The main reason I spent this much was I hit 50k after pullin in another 15k from lockbox's a total of about 28k. I decided that all that time in scholomance was going to get me somthing.

5k/hour gold making

Well I'm now at 35k after leaping at an amazing gold making stratagie.

But first I'd like mention that trade channel can be amazing. I know I know that trade can act like a 4 year old. But that's why it's so amazing, there is so much 'M&S' that are not there to make gold. Yesterday I saw someone selling end flasks at 10g each, about 60 of them, though I dident get this lovely deal as he couldent wait 30 seconds for me to log to a toon in org. My point is that you can generaly consider that everyone in trade is 'M&S' or to at least to be cheeky with offers from experence it dose really pay off. Trade is also the factor that can not be calculated, people will base the price of an item on th AH if listing but in trade people want there money now. Trade is great as it is a means of trade not determined by the AH goblins on your server.

So I was in trade a few days ago and someone was stating "WTB heavy junkbox's 100g each (not a typo!!!!) C.o.D all." so naturaly i wipped the thottbot, and found where the best place was. I farmed 37 to start, sent them off and got my money the next day, so I decided that it was time to level my rogues lockpocking. I leveled it upto the 350 mark. Currently iv been farming in both Scholomance and Tyr's Hand and I can get about 50 box's an hour, and at the loving selling price of 100g each that's 5k an hour which is worth my time no matter how boring it is to do. I'm shocked this guys paying 1000g per 150 rep, then again he's insane an has paid 15k to me so far.

I decided after having a casual chat that I needed to lock on and get this guy to buy just from me, so I said I'd sell him 200 at 75g each, he replied that he needed a week to make the money so we settled for 200 box's at 15k by Monday.

How many of you are working on the insane title, how far are you if you are? And have you thought about ever selling the title to thouse that want it?

Gold drives people

well currently iv started buy thos and that to stockpile and getting my glyphs sorted out.

I was chatting away on vent with my guild, were very close good friends, they know i earn lots, i have trusted them with thosands of gold worth in items when tradimg cross faction and i trust them alot.

so were talking on vent and i mentioned that the 2 passonger flying mount in recruit a friend is coming out and i had wanted to buy it as a gold sink. well i joked that id pay one of them 20k gold for one of them to buy a new coppy of the game and allow me to recruit them, aswell they would have to buy 60 days of play time. And just like that i had 3 people interested (well 1 and a couple) so this got me thinking. Seeing as they are paying real world cash for 'unreal' objects. This is somthing im personaly not into, i dont plan now nor ever buying ingame items for money. But from these peoples enthusasm was amazing, one said to buy 20k gold from a gold site it would cost X so your saving money! One mentioned that he would of accepted for less!!! So i was planimg on burning 30-50k on this mount as a gold sink but now i could get it between 10-20k. This is amazing i was thinking about how i could get a cheep goldsink.

But then the next thing that hit me, it was that buying the first 30 days gifts me 30 days aswell! Now im paying 10-20k to get a mount + 30 days of play time. Infact forget the mount, i can buy time to play this game without having to pay real money, why?

Because gold drives people.

By exazaming this we can see the value thay people place on gold. Gold is worth money as it is holds all aspects as any other good that is bought or sold. People play WoW and it is part of their life trading money for in game gold for somthing that they feel they need or more accuratly want. This is just like any other want, it can be satifyed by limmited means and results with an optunity cost. Though in a normal situation (in real life) people do not have to be (very) skilled to earn enough to live on. People can 'grind' 10 hours a day in an unskilled job and then come home and 'grind' for another 2 hours on WoW to get that epic flyer. While a skilled bussness man can 'work' an 8 hour he must still come home and 'grind' for his epic mount aswell. The skilled man must spend the same ammount of time to grind his flyer as anyother doing dailys. While in the real world being a skilled worker means better pay (usaly). The difference about world of warcraft is that your limmited mean is only time, yes to somewhat dregee skill comes into play but with time (nearly) every player can become skilled. Real world money can not buy anything in game, so everyone would be equall if they played the same ammount of hours (removing luck and considering everyone is equally skilled/smart).

so forget the mount for a second, I can get WoW time for in game gold, to a dregee. I could easyly put in the time to make 10k gold a month and neber buy game time eber again, thay would be cool.

Its interesting to see people put a money value on an ingame item and they do that because it takes time to grind an epic flyer or time to get gear to kill the lichking to get that item. These people want to trade money to save the time it would take to get that gold. Since a bussness man can earn great $ per hour he can spend more time at work, and spend some of that on buying gold so he dosnt have to farm for 10 hours or what ever, in turn he 'saves' time while i gain somthing i want/money.

Im interested to see if i can get this to work, ill keep you updates.

What 30k buys v2

Well i dident mention it here but i took a 4 day break as my WoW time ran out, and i was happy to finish up school and play another game i just bought.

Ok well to sum up my patch day experences, i made 30k over 72 hours. Well i pulled in 30k, having a total of 50k gold in cash. I decided today i was going to cut back on my WoW gold making and spend more time leveling my new druid (23 atm).

So i was thinking about what to spend my gold on and decovered the WoW fourms trading card section, its very server based but i think you should check it out:

So anyway after checking that to possibly get another TCG mount i found that mounts were in the range of 50-90k and the flying/tigers were 130-200k.
So today i log on, pvp with my rogue come to org, que up for the random daily battle ground (not once but twice, as i afk'd for a min and it went off) and as soon as i get out, i see in trade.
WTS Rooster Egg 30k
I wispered the guy and it took a few mins for a reply, said he was sifting through all the 200g offers. So i met with the guy and payed up.

I glad i bought this, and now i feel i have a somewhat 'collection' of TCG mounts (2). So this has kind of sparked me to make more gold, feeling the hole in my pocket where a rather large bump is now gone. I was really glad with the price since people on the fourm were selling at 50-80k so i think it was a steal, no regrets.

I am currently unsure for my future plans/goals gold wise to get to before cata. Currently im sitting at just below 20k gold.

48 hour aftermath

Well this time 2 days ago i had loged on as soon as servers were up and was ready to post.

Above is the starting cash i had, Refer to this link below as to what my items were pre-patch.
Yes i did have a few more but you get the idea.

Well iv loved these explosive sales, somthing i havnt had before.

A few kinda of but not as related stories.

First was yesterday, someone selling the Toad pet patten was advertising in trade, i instantly sent a 700g offer, he accepted. I said to come to UC. He then said that he would advetise a little longer and see if he could get a better offer, he did, 850g. I said i pay 900, i was readded to group with another fella there. He said to do a /roll and the highest he would sell to. The other guy rolled a 80 or somthing but i decided to roll 1-10000000 to be sure to win (allmost sure), i sated that i had rolled higher and had won, and that a deal was a deal, for the second time. He then said that he was just going to sell to the other guy, so i offered 1000g, the result was that the other guy was kicked. I told him to wait where he was as i logged over, i wispered him and made him wait a few mins as i pissed about on the AH. This is what followed:

I was glad i nocked 300g off the price, this is what i was hoping would happen from the moment i offered 1k. What do you think of this fella?
sucker...

edit: turns out it was my mate quitting thanks Sal!!

The second thing happened an hour ago, i woke up to a full mailbox, well 30 crates full of runecloth, from some unknown person in my mail, this was a total of 6000 cloth, a good 300 stacks! They wernt CoD'd there was no message, they were just there. So i mailed them off to sit in an alts mailbox for the mean time. What do you think? It's over 1kg worth of cloth, should i send it back or just keep it?

Just a pic of my rogues 80 moment:

3.3.3 hitting

Quick note/update just to get the info out there, 3.3.3 is hitting get ready its going to be busy.

Honour options

As 3.3.3 draws closer people are thinking more and more about the up coming changes.

Edit: I belive that tokens will only be worth 185 honour each, this means I will be saving all for a later date. I also think that this makes 'farming' them totaly not worth it.

The changes to honour include marks of honour being able to be traded in for 2000 honour points, as marks a being phased out. So this is going to cause a huge spike of honour, so how will you spend you honour?

1. Trade in your marks, then spend your points on epic gems to sell. This will be by far the most commen of the random Joe who learns he can make a quick buck.

2. Spend your marks, then useing your honour on pvp gear for either fun or to start an area team.

3. Save your marks to turn in for the next arena season.

4. Save you marks for cataclysm and spend on gear or on gems for a more profitable outcome.

Remember that honour marks may not be able to be changed for the ammount of 2000, it is rumered that it won't be this much. I'm not sure what to belive about this for the moment.

So what am I going to do? I'v decided that I'm not going to send time farming these marks, but I will do a combo of options 1 and 4. I will use all marks on any alts like my twink rogue and all other alts on gems while keeping marks on my 80s for a later date.

This will be the case aslong as the trade in of marks to honour is sole-bound, if they are able to be traded in for an item (boa) then all marks will be traded and the honour stored.

Ps still on holaday just found some free wifi.

Back to barrens chat.

Well I'm at 19k gold and I'm pleased that my ammo selling had taken over.

I have made about 3k gold since I mentioned getting my other friend on board, currently sold 7 stacks of eternal shadow worth so about 700, a bit less than. I have found that the racio of hunters with guns to bows is about 1:7 as I sell a huge ammount more arrows than rounds, what do you find? I may be able to pull in 2-3k every week at most from this busseness, and that's amazing for a small 3k gold investment and 10mins a day.

I haven't set up my glyph bussness yet but my plan is to post glyphs that no one else is posting and make most profits that way rather than post offten to undercut, that dosnt mean I'm not going to post high compertsion glyphs, just I won't undercut as offten. Also planning, as I have tested and found it to work well, to only post glyphs with a higher thresh hold, fighting over silver is not my plan, so I am upping my thesh hold to 5-10g from crafting price + 20s.

I finaly got my rogue to 80 last Friday, I was very pleased as I had said for a long time that "i'd never have more than one 80" but I supose it's where you put your time, making gold or leveling, doing dailys or pvp an mmo is a time reward game. For now I plan on having two 80 toons but way down the track my new toon may be there, my Druid. But for the mean time I have heroic-feaver for my rogue and Chuck Norris jokes for my Druid.

I really really don't want 3.3.3 to hit tomorrow, I'm going away and won't be back till Monday and so if it hits I don't get the upperhand, from news so far it dose not look like it will.

For a bit of fun leave a comment with your best Chuck Norris joke:

"Chuck Noris once went to the virgin islands, now there just called the islands."

The ink just hit the fan

Well I'm blue, and I don't love jessicia anymore.

I now have about 4400 ink of the sea. Rarther alot, and as I mentioned I was going to sell it to my mate and for it to be turned into rogues decks for his darkmoon fair reputation for the insane title. We were going to use my friend jessicia to trade then inks to lower forms in dal. We had done all the math and had it sorted down cost per card, ink prices, reputation gained, everything or so we thought...

The first mistake was buying and milling the herbs before checking everything. Hey I normly would go to the vender and check it out but since it was in dal, well my pc isn't built for that. I know it's a week excuse but it is my reason.

Not checking that both inks could be traded was my blunder, was lead to belive that jessicia sold all inks for one ink of the sea. Turns out she dosnt sell the rare inks.

The second made by my friend, the rogues decks themselves give 25 rep each, not 75 as he had read. Lucky the inks couldn't be traded at all because this would been a deal breaker and the shit would really have hit the fan.

Ok so this is one of those times I'll look back on and see my mistakes and learn to not be lazy and put off going through a bit of tight lag.

So what is my plan for now? Good question, what to do with 4.4k ink of the sea, and 500 snowfall ink for that matter. Well I'm taking ideas from you. My current plans are these:

Make a good chunk into valumes
Give my glyph bussness a makeover and finally get my shut togeather and go addon crazy
Make more epic offhands on the shelves
Restock my fort scroll collection
No darkmoon cards, for now

Any other ideas?

Pictures

Well iv orgznised my mail that was all stacked up on one toon, i feel i am now "full" and will stop buying and start selling.

These pic's do not include another 150-200 stacks of icethorn and other herbs that were sent to be milled and are just in mail waiting.
So dose this match your stock piles?

Edit: one bank tab from spler is missing, it's just has another 98 stacks of lichbloom.

Three developments

Well I went on a two trip but now I'm back and ready to roll.

My gold is about 15k and for the time it's staying at that, gold made is covering gold spent on items for 333. A few interesting devlopments have happened:

The first is that another of my friends have reached the honoured mark and can now buy the iceblade arrow patten. I offered him the same offer as my other friend, I get the premordial saronite for him and he will make me arrows when ever need them.
He took the offer and production of arrows will start soon. I had enough frost badges so I traded another 23 frosties for a saronite.

The second was a friend who has been grinding out for the insane title, has moved onto the darkmoon fair and requires 500 rougues decks, this is where I come in, useing my stock piles of herbs and ink I'm going to get him the decks, he's getting money while I'm getting herbs to do this, I'm going to use jessicia to turn my high end herbs into the lower level inks. He's looking to spend 15k on this, I'll take a few thousand cut, but I'll make alot of snowfall ink out of this. Need around 3000 ink of the sea more.

Finaly badspler has finaly learnt every glyph learnable from daily creation, though I won't be into the major glyph market for now, because I will be stockpileing ink of the sea for my mate.

In other news my rouge is now 78 and nearying to 80 hopefuly by next week. Also Im clearing out my much stacked mail to give some pics of what I have stored.

Saronite ore farmer

Just to clear things up with my tiger, it's only the 60% speed version. I still love it, being one of 3 people on my server is a really cool thing to know.

I'm sitting just below 20k gold at this point, but I have been buying tons, and tons of stuff that I feel will increase in price or for useing. Currently I'm investing alot into saronite ore and lichbloom aswell as gold clover, items used to make the bop pets that are changing to boe, also I am buying up eternals mainly earth to use with my ore. Keeping an eye on flasks and frost lotus.

So about this farmer iv found, yesterday he wispered me (good start), he wanted to sell saronite ore, said 100 stacks so I sent my money from spler to badspler to trade, wisely sending three times the amount needed. Turned out he had alot closer to 200 stacks. He spoke much better but still broken english. I told him he could sell to me any time he wanted and to add me to friends. Today I loged stright onto Bad to finding him next to me, I asked if he had more, he did. So after 75 more stacks and 5 stacks of eternal earth I left pleased, again saying to sell at anytime. He said he would be on at a Cretan time server time the next day, though I couldent make it, and told him this, he said no problem I'll CoD. So I'm looking forward to tomorrow to see if I have some waiting, oh I'm buying 13g a stack so I can always smith and vender for 50 silver a stack loss.

In other news I have powered out my rouge from 74-76. Epic flying has helped a ton. Looking forward to hitting 80.

Busy week will be playing alot less for this week.

What 30k buys

I have my reasons, nothing else will be said.

That is all thank you

Tuesday, February 23, 2010

Square one

Well this week I blew the lot. What's gold If you don't spend it right? Well I'm not the one to keep that number to have that number.

Now I'm down to 15k, iv bought 12k of stuff on allince and sent it to horde to sell, I'm pooling my money mainly to get making more again, I also felt that with the up coming patch it would be safer. I missed the frozen orb rush btw. So ATM I have alot of high price items to sell.

This week I also bought epic flying on my rogue, I'm planing now to level to 80. I also bought another bank tab on spler for 2.5k.

So my current plans are these in order:

*Rouge to 80
*Get some instance gear
*Get gold back up to 40-50k ish mark before cata comes out.
*possibly level another toon to 80, not my thing I'd do but maybe just maybe.

Once cata comes out
*use that 500 stacks of runecloth and get me that mount
*level main to 85 while buying herbs and ore for leveling alchemy and jewl crafting to really get ahead, this may depend on what intonation is releases on the professions.
*monoplise the jewlcrafting and gem market maybe expand into others but gem markets the plan for now.

Iv always felt that iv started to late in wrath (in jewl crafting) to get a foot hold in the market. Comments on that please. But i feel that due to pattens and monoplies that I will get just down if I join now.

So what do you think?
Using your gold
My plan for cata
Joining gem market now

Earth fire water shadow and life, with these powers combind...

What do you do when there are 300 eternal fires dumped at 15g ea on the AH? You buy them, you don't care that it costs 5k you do it knowing your going to make money. I'm planing on xfering 280 of these fires to allince to either dump just below 30 or stream off at 30-35g each.

In other news I made another 22 darkmoon cards with some eternal life I snatched up, got 5 nobles, that's not too bad. Should atleast cover the costs plus turn a fair amount of snowfalls into gold.

And lastly I made another 85 belt buckels and as normal the guy asks what I need them for and how much gold I have, now I don't normaly tell but I thought for a second and decided to see how it would go: bad; well not bad but anouyingly this social norm sees a guy who has power and wealth and decides to try and take advantage of any potunity, now he thinks where friends. So just a reminder don't brag about your 50k and prove it in a trade.

In further news everyone has moved out of the shatted rounds market leaving me to sell at 10g a stack, less and less people are buying and I don't know why. Is it because there friends can make them ammo or because everyone has bows? Any hunters out there mind posting about there ammo useage?

After math of 48 hours of glyphs

Ok it's been 48 hours since I posted my glyphs on the AH here are the results, oh I decided to post 4 of each glyph to be sure that if one was popular it could sell more than just the one:

0 glyphs sold on kwii
2 glyphs sold on hoath
420 glyphs sol... Returned from spaxx, 4 sold.

This means I lost money, on deposits. Well I'm going to post 1 of every glyph now for another 48 hours just to be sure this isn't a money maker.

But what this did prove is there are people looking at the netural AH, and in future there could be items worth selling on it, other than pets etc.

What if everyone knows what we do?

It's an interesting thought, what would happen if everyone (or atleast a much much larger % of the WoW community) knew what to do, how to make huge sums of gold. Its taking me what? well i hit 20k on 12/19/09 and its 15/2/10 thats 55 days to make 30k gold, hmm dosn't sound as good when you put it like that, anyway the speed increases and increases i think iv made my second 4th/5th 10k gold alot faster than my first few. But to my point, its not hard to make gold if you know what to do.

So what if everyone knew? Profits would take a sky dive i would belive, its taken only so long to learn what sites to follow, read and to get options and ideas about what is good to sell trade and things to do. I bet, for those willing to learn, like i once was it would take maybe 2 months to learn what to do. It took me that long. It also becomes natural, you see deals, you take them, no thinking about it to the profit points, you know it will make gold, you do it.

My point is that it is not hard, not one bit. Time is money, Skill is money. Less money the more competsion, more undercuts. I'd also like to talk about the growing comunity. Marco has really built the community with his fourms, as they have expanded more and more people have joined.
The latest expations have been the "Call to auction podcast" and WoW.coms new bloger (from this podcast), writing his new segment. (http://www.wow.com/2010/02/14/gold-capped-making-ridiculous-sums-of-money-on-the-auction-hous/#continued).

So what do you think? When is tomuch to much?

Middle Age

Well i went all out last night and sold alot of things more than normal to get that lovely number, pulled in about 2 and a half k gold.

So heres a few pics of me being 50 : )

And without bad addon.

Well that i feel is major goal gone, I don't know what my next goal will be. Still going to aim higher at least a 100k.

Crazy crazy crazy idea

Just decided that I am going to test this idea:

What about selling glyphs at a fixed price on the netural AH? Maybe 8g a peace, no compertsion no hassles of under cutting, post for two days and forget.

Why this might just work:
While leveling I found that I needed new glyphs all the tine but did bot have the gold to buy them at 25g.
Second would be that I always forgot after leveling, after coming back to org to train I'd leave stright away.
Third ,when coming to a netural AH I would be interested to find out what was on it and have a look.
Fourth all of the netural auction houses are connected.
Firth, the netural AH sells to both horde and allince, twice as many leveling toons.

Sounds fun and it might just work.

Ammo payed off, nearly

I while back now a friend of mine reached the reputation mark where you he could craft shatted rounds. You may know the requirment for the patten is one premordial saronite, I made an offer that I would pay for the saronite , 2k gold if I could mail him the mats when ever. Now I have just about made 2k from this, so soon anything I make after that point is profit.

Two faced

There are two sides to each server, as much as I dislike playing on the allince I am going to be.

I have set up two new toons on the allince side to start trading. I had a friend who I made a deal with: that he would give me 600g allince side and I would give him 700g horde side. You may think that is an unfair deal but it isn't, to transfer my own gold over I would have to pay a 15% tax over the netural AH and it requres a secound accout or a friend at bootybay. So over all it's a good starter, simply I'm planing on moving money from side to side via stock selling it for much better.

Friends sell up

When I left my old guild I started sharing that I was making a fair amount of gold with my 'new' guild. Which really was a bunch of old friends. Today two of them came to me saying that they were foolish to try and compeate with me, so I was able to buy up all there stock, mainly ammo but some other items to. I paid a price that I would make a profit on still. I liked how one said "you have always under cut me".

Cuttently I am attempting to try to remove compedatores in the shatted rounds market by selling stacks at 80s ea I hope.... Just logged on to find my stacks and 4 other stacks, price is now 20g a stack.

Interesting developement

Just came arcoss an interesting development, a card maker after buying a few of my snowfalls. After wispering to ask if could supply him. He replying that he dident have any money to but he would trade me frost lotus for 6 ink ea! Said he farmed all his herbs and made cards with the eternals. This mention it's win win currently I am getting 10g/ ink via this trade offloaded 50 so far hoping I can get rid of my remaining 500.

iPod touch/phone

Well I expect that all of you know a AH feature is coming to the iPhone and less importantly the iPod touch. For thouse of you that don't know, an iPhone can get Internet anywhere so you can be undercutting people anywhere anytime, an iPod touch needs wifi, so hey I can undercut you from my couch, bed, mates house, free wifi in mall etc etc. I am really hoping that you will be Ble to buy this new feature through iTunes credit, just would make things easyer for me.

So anyway post what you think about this new feature coming, over all I think it will be bad but the features won't be you addon setup, no QA2/3 on you iproduct.

In other news I broke 40k gold mark, I'm now 44k. I'm making great g/per day from glyphs at the moment. And belive it or not the sarronite shuffle on my server looks to be about 90% as profitable As it once was!!! Just need the ore now.

Badspler Rides Black

Sorry for the late post, for the 3rd time to. No major things trading wise happened, I as mainly putting arrows on the AH to sell.

The reason the post dident get out untill morning today, was i decided to start a OS 3D run with 4 other members of my guild and some PuG'd people.

We were a solid group, we had about 8-10 wipes before we mannaged to pull it off.

This was an achivment and title i have wanted to get for a long time, and even better i won the roll on the black drake.
I was offered 5k gold by someone, i had offered the guildys in group 3k over vent. But i decided to keep the drake for my self. Now all i need is for blizz to remove it from game when the xpak comes out.
So would you trade away the drake for 5k? Pay 5k to someone for it? Tell us what you think.

not a big day

not a lot happened today
I did craft a good smack of my glyphs, ill finish the rest of my crafting tomorrow. I couldnt get into dal without disconecting to trade inks into the lower ones. Why am i crafting so many? Two reasons:

1 I am crafting all the glyphs to crash that i dont have.
2 I am replacing the glyphs that are selling well, in this case all of them, because of there price.
I did mannage to get some lucky guy to make me 500 stacks of arrows. Yay for offloading eternals. I diden't have time to post last night because i finaly found someone to craft me these arrows, none of the crafters want to make arrows for others, since the sales are so good.
