Well I blew another 20k. I bought a Hog, one thing I'd never thought I'd do but decided that I wanted it. I also got a guildmate to buy me the celestial mount code. So this adds to my collection.
The main reason I spent this much was I hit 50k after pullin in another 15k from lockbox's a total of about 28k. I decided that all that time in scholomance was going to get me somthing.

5k/hour gold making
Well I'm now at 35k after leaping at an amazing gold making stratagie.
But first I'd like mention that trade channel can be amazing. I know I know that trade can act like a 4 year old. But that's why it's so amazing, there is so much 'M&S' that are not there to make gold. Yesterday I saw someone selling end flasks at 10g each, about 60 of them, though I dident get this lovely deal as he couldent wait 30 seconds for me to log to a toon in org. My point is that you can generaly consider that everyone in trade is 'M&S' or to at least to be cheeky with offers from experence it dose really pay off. Trade is also the factor that can not be calculated, people will base the price of an item on th AH if listing but in trade people want there money now. Trade is great as it is a means of trade not determined by the AH goblins on your server.
So I was in trade a few days ago and someone was stating "WTB heavy junkbox's 100g each (not a typo!!!!) C.o.D all." so naturaly i wipped the thottbot, and found where the best place was. I farmed 37 to start, sent them off and got my money the next day, so I decided that it was time to level my rogues lockpocking. I leveled it upto the 350 mark. Currently iv been farming in both Scholomance and Tyr's Hand and I can get about 50 box's an hour, and at the loving selling price of 100g each that's 5k an hour which is worth my time no matter how boring it is to do. I'm shocked this guys paying 1000g per 150 rep, then again he's insane an has paid 15k to me so far.
I decided after having a casual chat that I needed to lock on and get this guy to buy just from me, so I said I'd sell him 200 at 75g each, he replied that he needed a week to make the money so we settled for 200 box's at 15k by Monday.
How many of you are working on the insane title, how far are you if you are? And have you thought about ever selling the title to thouse that want it?

Gold drives people
well currently iv started buy thos and that to stockpile and getting my glyphs sorted out.
I was chatting away on vent with my guild, were very close good friends, they know i earn lots, i have trusted them with thosands of gold worth in items when tradimg cross faction and i trust them alot.
so were talking on vent and i mentioned that the 2 passonger flying mount in recruit a friend is coming out and i had wanted to buy it as a gold sink. well i joked that id pay one of them 20k gold for one of them to buy a new coppy of the game and allow me to recruit them, aswell they would have to buy 60 days of play time. And just like that i had 3 people interested (well 1 and a couple) so this got me thinking. Seeing as they are paying real world cash for 'unreal' objects. This is somthing im personaly not into, i dont plan now nor ever buying ingame items for money. But from these peoples enthusasm was amazing, one said to buy 20k gold from a gold site it would cost X so your saving money! One mentioned that he would of accepted for less!!! So i was planimg on burning 30-50k on this mount as a gold sink but now i could get it between 10-20k. This is amazing i was thinking about how i could get a cheep goldsink.
But then the next thing that hit me, it was that buying the first 30 days gifts me 30 days aswell! Now im paying 10-20k to get a mount + 30 days of play time. Infact forget the mount, i can buy time to play this game without having to pay real money, why?
Because gold drives people.
By exazaming this we can see the value thay people place on gold. Gold is worth money as it is holds all aspects as any other good that is bought or sold. People play WoW and it is part of their life trading money for in game gold for somthing that they feel they need or more accuratly want. This is just like any other want, it can be satifyed by limmited means and results with an optunity cost. Though in a normal situation (in real life) people do not have to be (very) skilled to earn enough to live on. People can 'grind' 10 hours a day in an unskilled job and then come home and 'grind' for another 2 hours on WoW to get that epic flyer. While a skilled bussness man can 'work' an 8 hour he must still come home and 'grind' for his epic mount aswell. The skilled man must spend the same ammount of time to grind his flyer as anyother doing dailys. While in the real world being a skilled worker means better pay (usaly). The difference about world of warcraft is that your limmited mean is only time, yes to somewhat dregee skill comes into play but with time (nearly) every player can become skilled. Real world money can not buy anything in game, so everyone would be equall if they played the same ammount of hours (removing luck and considering everyone is equally skilled/smart).
so forget the mount for a second, I can get WoW time for in game gold, to a dregee. I could easyly put in the time to make 10k gold a month and neber buy game time eber again, thay would be cool.
Its interesting to see people put a money value on an ingame item and they do that because it takes time to grind an epic flyer or time to get gear to kill the lichking to get that item. These people want to trade money to save the time it would take to get that gold. Since a bussness man can earn great $ per hour he can spend more time at work, and spend some of that on buying gold so he dosnt have to farm for 10 hours or what ever, in turn he 'saves' time while i gain somthing i want/money.
Im interested to see if i can get this to work, ill keep you updates.

What 30k buys v2
Well i dident mention it here but i took a 4 day break as my WoW time ran out, and i was happy to finish up school and play another game i just bought.
Ok well to sum up my patch day experences, i made 30k over 72 hours. Well i pulled in 30k, having a total of 50k gold in cash. I decided today i was going to cut back on my WoW gold making and spend more time leveling my new druid (23 atm).
So i was thinking about what to spend my gold on and decovered the WoW fourms trading card section, its very server based but i think you should check it out:
So anyway after checking that to possibly get another TCG mount i found that mounts were in the range of 50-90k and the flying/tigers were 130-200k.
So today i log on, pvp with my rogue come to org, que up for the random daily battle ground (not once but twice, as i afk'd for a min and it went off) and as soon as i get out, i see in trade.
WTS Rooster Egg 30k
I wispered the guy and it took a few mins for a reply, said he was sifting through all the 200g offers. So i met with the guy and payed up.
I glad i bought this, and now i feel i have a somewhat 'collection' of TCG mounts (2). So this has kind of sparked me to make more gold, feeling the hole in my pocket where a rather large bump is now gone. I was really glad with the price since people on the fourm were selling at 50-80k so i think it was a steal, no regrets.
I am currently unsure for my future plans/goals gold wise to get to before cata. Currently im sitting at just below 20k gold.
