What if everyone knows what we do?

It's an interesting thought, what would happen if everyone (or atleast a much much larger % of the WoW community) knew what to do, how to make huge sums of gold. Its taking me what? well i hit 20k on 12/19/09 and its 15/2/10 thats 55 days to make 30k gold, hmm dosn't sound as good when you put it like that, anyway the speed increases and increases i think iv made my second 4th/5th 10k gold alot faster than my first few. But to my point, its not hard to make gold if you know what to do.

So what if everyone knew? Profits would take a sky dive i would belive, its taken only so long to learn what sites to follow, read and to get options and ideas about what is good to sell trade and things to do. I bet, for those willing to learn, like i once was it would take maybe 2 months to learn what to do. It took me that long. It also becomes natural, you see deals, you take them, no thinking about it to the profit points, you know it will make gold, you do it.

My point is that it is not hard, not one bit. Time is money, Skill is money. Less money the more competsion, more undercuts. I'd also like to talk about the growing comunity. Marco has really built the community with his fourms, as they have expanded more and more people have joined.

Keep the 'CoD'?

Well well crafted alot today, good to see sales coming in my mail box again.

Started off with some light amour vallume crafting, made a nice 450 bunch to slowly sell.
I also found someone selling some sarronite bars prity cheap ( 30g a stack) now i know thats = to 15g a stack of sarronite ore, but thats + time spent sifting it out buying it and getting it smelted, so im happy buying it at 30g a stack rather than getting it a little cheeper for alot more time. It was good he was also a blacksmith to.

Now after buying the eternal shadow for the belt making, i notaced that this fella was monopolising the market of all eternals, silly move, to much supply, also don't also sell stacks of what your montoplieing cheeper than singles.

Wonder if he knew he was paying 5g to buy his own shadows back?

Now i was thinking about this one for awhile, I know that this would be a very topical... topic. If i was to send a 'CoD' out after talking and aranging the price with my buyer. Then after relised that i had not 'CoD'd it but just sent the items off, would you expect i expect to get them back? For them to honestly send me money for them back? No i wouldn't, if i sent items away for free, thats my mistake, my falt, my loss. AH trading is solo, unlike a raid where you have 24/9 other players that can 'recover' from a mistake you make. By making this mistake i would learn to be more careful. So why should i give back items if people send them to ME for free?

Give an honest answer to this that last question. Just think, a simler instance, 100g worth of items/money send to you for free. Post a comment.

Now i have also notaced that my glyphs are selling, while there not undercutt, and there only not undercutt for about 30mins, in which i can sell about 5-8 glyphs. Thats about 50-70g profit, for logging on to two toons, cansling, collecting mail and then reposting (5-15mins). Grrr, ill have to find away around this, im not planing on 'camping' all day long to sell my glyphs.

Lastly heres what my bags on Spler that i ended on at the days end. I have decided to pick up some etenals (1000g worth in pic), these will be used in crafting more belts ore fliped(resold for higher prices).

Today I branched into a new market, a small market, but a new one at least. First i have been stockpiling some neatherweave cloth. Today i got a friend of a friend to make it all into bags, 160 bags >_<. Thats alot of crafting. 150g tip, one for each bag (nearly).

They sold quick to (about 10)!

As i kind of mentiond before, im thinking about leaving my guild, this always seams to be on my mind, as much as i want to stay settled i always feeling like im moving, even if its 5 months apart. I feel like its good at first, and then turns bad. This normly happeneds after a month or two, i then spend 3 months thinking about leaving then moving on. This is month two.


As much as you want to hear me moan about why i am going to leave (please note that this blog is my diary of what I am doing, not do X to make money but I am doing X heres my results), i just wanted to pose the question that i keep asking my self:


At what point is it best to leave a guild rather than stay?

Malevicton

Malevicton is one of my toons that holds a guild bank (don't they all), holding about a 1/3 of my runecloth (ill cover this next week). Pre 3.3 i had been doing the ammo scam on Spler, for those of you that read Gevlons blog will know what im on about. Simply you sell stacks of 100 arrows lower than the price of 1000 stack arrows hoping that a buyer will mistake your lower costing stacks as a 1000 stacks not 100 stack. The problem was that all those hunters felt that they were getting 'scamed' and decided to blame me, insteed of themselves. I told i little lie (again ill tell more later) to shut them, but i knew that these profits were good enough to keep doing.

This is where Malevicton comes in, pre made toon. No associations with anyone. I did'ent want people black listing my main trader so i moved the reasources to Malevicton to see how much i could make in one week by doing this ammo scam. I decided to do it when the new 3.3 ammo came out. Took my server a Long time in comparison to others. People started selling stacks at 50g/1000 ammo , i bought and relisted at 23g/100 ammo.

Results.

In 1 week i made just under 1500g from doing this.

Frost vs Money

Today i made a decision. Like everyone we all make decisions. Today im am not sure i made the right one, a decision that may hinder me down the line. Today a guildy asked if anyone had primordial saronite (Primordial Saronite is the item that’s required for the next level of crafting gear out of Icecrown.) he offered 2500g stright up, said he needed 2 from 'guildies'. I made the decision to trade 23 Emblems of Frost for 2500 gold. The reasons for this as follows :

• Since this member is a respected raid leader i felt that the guild leader would accept this members gear incease (at the cost of my emblems of frost) would be more important than mine, maken this acceptable to do.


• I took a month off raiding, my gear level stayed at ulda level while everyone cleared up ToC and then ToGC , my gear is behind by so much now that i no longer have a priority in raids.

Although I no longer have priority, gear or the respect as the great healer i was, this was a big decision I made as the opitunity cost is me catching up to my top raiders gear level.

I took Greed over Gear. I hope i don't regret this.
